Clubs and nightlife in Ibiza

Many people associate Ibiza with bustling nightlife, and this fame the island owes to its many clubs, the first of which opened in 1973 (the famous Pacha). Lovers of electronic music flock to Ibiza from all over the world, and clubbers of the Earth are well familiar with the iconic clubs of Ibiza: Privilege, Amnesia, Space, Pacha, and DC10.

The clubbing season kicks off in early June and goes on for 4 months, until the first weekend of October rolls along. All leading music producers and DJs consider it their professional duty to make an appearance on Ibiza dance floors at least once a season, but many of them perform here regularly, choosing a specific night of the week for their sets. Ibiza is considered a testing ground of sorts, where DJs have a chance to try out their new material, hence allowing lovers of house, techno, trance and other electronic music genres to always be in the know of the latest trends.
