The Victoria and Albert Museum, or V&A as Londoners like to call it, is home to a fantastic - and expansive - collection of fine art and design objects, including sculptures, fabrics, furniture and so much of everything else that you are bound to run out of time before you get through the half of it.
The V&A arguably covers the square area of 5 hectares, with the length of all its hallways and rooms combined exceeding 13 kilometres, so you'd better show up early and well-rested for your visit! You will encounter drawings of Raphael, sculptures of Rodin, European art pieces covering the early Middle Ages to the 17th century, impressive collections of Buddhist art and art of Asia, as well as priceless collections of jewellery, costumes, theatre production exhibitions and much more.
Victoria and Albert Museum is open daily from 10:00 to 17:45. Admission to the museum is free, with a suggested donation of ВЈ5.
