The fortification wall, 2.5 meters thick and 6 m high, was also 3 km long. To the south from the museum of London one can see a part of the Roman fortification, dated 110 AC, which was a foundation of one of the towers and a part of the wall. The museum of London also has many artifacts of that period, and out of the windows of the Roman gallery the visitors may see a medieval quarter built on the Roman foundation. Wall Street has a large part of the Roman city wall foundation, dating back to 200 AC.
